Tapelog Terms of Use

These terms govern your use of Tapelog (the “App”), provided by 더 텐즈 (The Tens). Effective September 16, 2026.

2. App license and Apple terms

Tapelog is licensed, not sold, under the Apple Standard EULA. These product-specific terms supplement that agreement. If they conflict, the Apple Standard EULA and mandatory consumer law control.

3. What the App does

Tapelog records short silent video clips and assembles the clips from a single day into one tape, kept in the App’s archive. Everything happens on your device. There is no account, and the App has no server of its own.

4. What is free and what is paid

Tapelog is free to download. Without paying, you can record up to three clips a day. Nothing else is held back: the daily tape, the archive, playback, saving to Photos and sharing all work on the free App, and there is no advertising in the App.

One in-app purchase, “Unlimited Recording”, removes the daily limit. It is a one-time purchase and not a subscription, so nothing is charged again and nothing renews. The App Store shows the final price for your region, including tax, before you confirm.

If the free daily allowance changes, the change is posted here and applies only from the date it is posted.

5. Payment, refunds and the right of withdrawal

Apple takes the payment and issues receipts for App Store purchases, and Apple handles cancellations and refunds under its own terms. Ask for a refund at reportaproblem.apple.com or through your Apple Account.

Under the consumer law of the Republic of Korea you have a right of withdrawal, which for digital content may be limited once its use has begun. Because the purchase takes effect the moment it is made, please go to Apple first. If that leaves the matter unresolved, write to contact@thetens.app and we will help.

6. Restoring your purchase

The purchase belongs to your Apple Account, not to one handset. After reinstalling the App or moving to a new device, sign in with the same Apple Account and use Restore Purchases in the App’s settings. There is no further charge.

7. Your recordings are yours, and they live only on your device

You keep every right in what you record. You are also responsible for obtaining any permission needed to film people, places, artwork or other protected material, and for choosing lawful destinations when sharing.

Recordings are stored only on your device. The App does not upload them, and we hold no copy, so we cannot recover anything for you. If you delete the App or lose the device, the recordings go with it. Save what matters to Photos, and keep a device back up.

8. Permitted use

Use the App lawfully on Apple devices associated with your App Store account, subject to Apple’s usage rules. Do not misuse the App, infringe another person’s rights, or attempt to disrupt or circumvent its operation, including its purchase checks.

9. Availability and updates

Recording depends on compatible device hardware, iOS permissions, available storage and operating-system behavior. We may update, change or discontinue the App where permitted by law. Tapes and clips already on your device are unaffected by any such change.

10. Warranty and liability

The App is provided subject to the warranty and liability terms in the Apple Standard EULA. Nothing here excludes rights or remedies that cannot be excluded under applicable consumer law.

11. Governing law and disputes

The governing law of these terms is the law of the Republic of Korea. This does not remove the protection given to you by the mandatory consumer law of the country where you live. We would rather settle a complaint by email than in a courtroom, so please write to us first.

12. Changes and contact

Tapelog 이용약관

본 약관은 더 텐즈 (The Tens, 이하 “운영자”)가 제공하는 Tapelog(이하 “앱”)의 이용 조건을 정합니다. 시행일은 2026년 9월 16일입니다.

2. 앱 사용권 및 Apple 약관

Tapelog은 판매가 아니라 Apple Standard EULA에 따라 사용권이 부여됩니다. 본 약관은 Tapelog에 관한 조건을 보충합니다. 내용이 충돌하는 경우 Apple 표준 사용권 계약과 강행 소비자법이 우선합니다.

3. 앱의 기능

Tapelog은 짧은 무음 영상 클립을 녹화하고, 같은 날 찍은 클립을 하나의 테이프로 묶어 앱 안의 아카이브에 보관합니다. 모든 처리는 이용자의 기기에서 이루어집니다. 계정이 없으며, 앱은 자체 서버를 두지 않습니다.

4. 무료 이용 범위와 인앱 구매

Tapelog은 무료로 내려받을 수 있습니다. 결제하지 않아도 하루 3개까지 클립을 녹화할 수 있습니다. 그 밖의 기능은 제한하지 않습니다. 오늘의 테이프, 아카이브, 재생, 사진 앱에 저장, 공유는 무료 상태에서 모두 동작하며, 앱 안에는 광고가 없습니다.

인앱 구매 상품 “무제한 기록” 하나가 이 하루 한도를 없앱니다. 1회 구매로 끝나며 구독이 아닙니다. 따라서 다시 청구되거나 자동 갱신되지 않습니다. 구매를 확정하기 전에 App Store가 지역별 최종 가격(부가세 포함)을 표시합니다.

무료 이용 한도를 변경하는 경우 이 페이지에 게시하며, 게시한 날부터 적용합니다.

5. 결제, 환불 및 청약철회

App Store 구매의 결제와 영수증 발행은 Apple이 처리하며, 취소와 환불도 Apple의 약관과 정책에 따라 Apple이 처리합니다. 환불은 reportaproblem.apple.com 또는 Apple 계정에서 신청할 수 있습니다.

대한민국 소비자법에 따라 이용자에게는 청약철회권이 있으며, 디지털 콘텐츠의 경우 이용을 개시한 뒤에는 이 권리가 제한될 수 있습니다. 구매는 즉시 효력이 발생하므로 먼저 Apple에 신청해 주세요. 그렇게 해도 해결되지 않으면 contact@thetens.app으로 알려주시면 돕겠습니다.

6. 구매 복원

구매는 기기 한 대가 아니라 이용자의 Apple 계정에 귀속됩니다. 앱을 다시 설치하거나 새 기기로 옮긴 뒤에는 같은 Apple 계정으로 로그인하고 앱 설정에서 구매 복원을 실행하세요. 추가 비용은 없습니다.

7. 기록물의 권리와 보관

이용자는 직접 기록한 결과물의 권리를 그대로 보유합니다. 사람, 장소, 작품 또는 보호되는 대상을 촬영할 때 필요한 허락을 받고, 합법적인 대상으로 공유할 책임은 이용자에게 있습니다.

기록물은 이용자의 기기에만 저장됩니다. 앱은 기록물을 업로드하지 않고 운영자는 사본을 보유하지 않으므로, 운영자가 대신 복구할 수 없습니다. 앱을 삭제하거나 기기를 분실하면 기록물도 함께 사라집니다. 중요한 기록은 사진 앱에 저장하고 기기 백업을 유지해 주세요.

8. 허용되는 이용

Apple의 이용 규칙에 따라 이용자의 App Store 계정과 연결된 Apple 기기에서 합법적으로 앱을 사용할 수 있습니다. 앱을 오용하거나 타인의 권리를 침해해서는 안 되며, 구매 확인 절차를 포함해 앱의 작동을 방해하거나 우회해서는 안 됩니다.

9. 제공 및 업데이트

녹화 기능은 호환 기기의 하드웨어, iOS 권한, 저장 공간과 운영체제 동작에 따라 달라질 수 있습니다. 운영자는 법이 허용하는 범위에서 앱을 업데이트·변경하거나 제공을 종료할 수 있습니다. 이미 기기에 저장된 테이프와 클립은 그러한 변경의 영향을 받지 않습니다.

10. 보증 및 책임

앱에는 Apple Standard EULA의 보증 및 책임 조건이 적용됩니다. 본 약관은 관련 소비자법상 배제할 수 없는 권리나 구제 수단을 제한하지 않습니다.

11. 준거법 및 분쟁

본 약관의 준거법은 대한민국 법입니다. 이는 이용자가 거주하는 국가의 강행 소비자법이 부여하는 보호를 배제하지 않습니다. 분쟁은 소송보다 메일로 해결하기를 바라므로, 먼저 운영자에게 연락해 주세요.

12. 약관 변경 및 문의

앱 또는 관련 법령이 변경되면 본 약관을 수정할 수 있습니다. 최신 약관과 시행일은 이 페이지에 게시합니다. 개인정보처리방침과 Tapelog 도움말도 함께 확인하세요. 문의는 contact@thetens.app으로 보내주세요.
